Saving Records to your eShelf
Your eShelf allows you to keep selected records in you own space within the Library Portal for future use.
To add records to your eshelf, search using either QuickSearch or MetaSearch. Click on the basket icon for the records you want to add to your e-shelf basket. You can add records to your basket from the brief, table or full record views.
To access your eshelf, click My Space in the top menu.

Any records you have added to your e-Shelf basket will be in the folder, Basket.
To save records to a new folder in your e-Shelf:
- Tick the boxes next to the records you want to save.
- Click on the save
icon.
- Give your folder a name, and click Save.
| Tip: You can have an unlimited number of folders. There is a limit of 500 records that may be added to your basket or to one of your folders. |
To save records to an existing folder:
- Click on the Advanced link at the top right of the screen to open the following screen:

- Using the dropdown menu on the left half of the screen, select the folder you want to transfer records to (IT Folder in the above example)
- Check the boxes next to the records to transfer in the right half of the screen (in the My Basket folder)
- Click on the arrow
icon to transfer the records to your folder on the left half of the screen.
To delete records and folders
- Click
to delete a record.
- Click
to delete all records from your basket or to delete a folder and its contents.
To rename a folder
- Click
to rename a folder.
