2008 Library Client SurveySurvey resultsThe Library recorded an overall score of 79.2% indicating a result in the first quartile (top 25%) when compared with other libraries in the Insync Surveys database. This reflects an increase of 2.2% since the previous survey in 2006. The following graph shows the performance scores of the Library within the range of other libraries scores, across the six survey categories. For all six categories the performance scores have increased in comparison to the previous survey in 2006.
The following scorecard presents similar information to the previous graph however shows the numerical scores in each category. The Library scored highest on the category of Library staff with a score of 88.8%. The lowest score was identified on Facilities Equipment at 71.1%. The information in the table enables comparison of Murdoch's results with the highest, lowest and median performers in Insync Surveys database.
Overall satisfactionRespondents were asked to provide a general assessment of their satisfaction with the Library. The overall average of 5.72(out of 7)(81.7%) places Murdoch in the first quartile when compared with other libraries surveyed over the last two years. This is an increase of 0.3% since the survey in 2006. Overall qualityRespondents were asked to provide a personal assessment of the overall quality of the Library they most used. The overall average was 5.75 (82.1%) an increase of 4.1% since the previous survey in 2006. |
