A print copy of every thesis (PhD, MPhil and Professional doctorate theses) submitted to the Library is held in the Library’s Special Collections. Second copies of these theses submitted up to the end of 2002, are held in the general collection. These are available for loan.

From 2003 onwards most PhD and Masters by research theses are available electronically via Murdoch University Digital Theses Program

Submitting Theses

Honours

Murdoch University Regulations require authors to submit copies of Honours (Bachelor Degree Regulations 58 (1) theses to the Library. Honours theses should be submitted to your School.

A Copyright license/Declaration is required to be submitted with your thesis to the Library. This is available from your division's instructions for honours students:

PhD, MPhil and Professionnal doctorate theses

Following successful examination of the thesis, one print and one electronic copy will be deposited in the University Library. This is stated in the Access to Thesis.
You can complete this electronic PhD, MPhil and Professionnal doctorate theses submission form and follow the instructions as provided by the Graduate Centre.

Masters by Coursework Theses

Where a School recommends submission to the Library of Masters by Coursework and other theses. please submit the thesis to your School. A Copyright License/declaration is required.
