Michael Durey Collection of History Microform Materials


The Michael Durey Collection of History Microforms was deposited in the Library by Professor Michael Durey. It was originally acquired to support research funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC).

All microfilms in the following listings are held in Special Collections which is located in a closed area. Library users are required to complete a request form for an item they wish to use which is then made available next day. The request form may be submitted by email or is available in print from the Enquiry Desk (requests made on Friday will be available the following Monday). Items are collected from the Reserve Desk and may be used only within the Library, unless special permission is obtained from the History Subject Librarian

Microfilms can be viewed on the Reader/Printer located in the Microform Collections and Viewing Room on South Wing Level 1 of the Library. Access to the Reader/Printer can be booked for a period of up to 2 hours (which may be extended if there are no other bookings). Booking sheets and instructions are located next to the Reader/Printer. Bookings can also be made from off campus by contacting Janice Pell on 9360 2154 or by email to Janice Pell
