Action Learning in Second Life

Presented by Lindy McKeown, PhD student at University of Southern Queensland.
Lindy specialises in the application of online technologies for professional learning and has constructed an island in Second Life called Terra Incognita as part of her research.

hands on workshops

Presented by Kathryn Greenhill, a Murdoch Librarian who co-ordinates the Australian Libraries Building in Second Life, and
Swan Canning, an avatar who is custodian of the Murdoch Library's land in Second Life.

SESSION 1 - Creating your avatar (1 hour)

Steps you through selecting an avatar name, entering Second Life, basic moving and communication
