Classes and Programs

Murdoch Campus Library

During the year the Murdoch Campus Library will offer monthly information skills classes and EndNote training to all University staff and students.

Please Note: At various times during the year, information skills classes will also be offered at the Rockingham and Peel Campus Libraries.


Programme 2009

  • An Introduction to EndNote for Windows
  • All classes are free to Murdoch University students and staff
  • Presented by Murdoch University Librarians
  • Classes are hands-on and handouts will be provided
  • Unless otherwise indicated, classes will be held in the Training Laboratory (Room 1.015) on South Wing Level 1of the Murdoch Campus Library
  • All classes are PC based and minimum numbers will apply in order for sessions to proceed

An Introduction to EndNote for Windows

EndNote is personal bibliographic management software which allows you to:
  • Organise references in a database
  • Create bibliographies automatically using your word processor
  • Search some bibliographic databases on the Internet

This introductory session is aimed at users new to the EndNote software. Find out how to create a new EndNote library and add references to your library, and how to quickly and easily create bibliographies within your documents.
Prerequisite: PC and Windows skills
