Thesis Binding Service

Murdoch University students and staff wishing to have their Murdoch theses bound may arrange this through the Murdoch University Library.

How much does it cost?

Binding of each volume of a thesis costs $41.25 (GST included). In addition, there is an administrative charge of $11 (GST included).

What do I have to do?

Bring the copies of your thesis, collated as you wish them to be bound, to the Bibliographic Services area at the end of Link Level 2 in the Murdoch Campus Library. Opening hours are shown below.
Please be aware that the Library and the Binder do not check pagination etc.

How do I pay for binding?

You may pay by internal transfer from the account you nominate, or by cheque, credit card, or cash debit from funds added to your student/staff card.

How long does it take?

The turnaround time for thesis binding will average between 2 to 5 weeks. Material for binding is despatched to the binder once a fortnight, and is received back 2 weeks later.

How will I know that my bound thesis is ready to be collected?

Library staff will contact you by phone as soon as possible after receiving the bound copies.
