When Submitting a Request

Please include your full delivery address, Ariel address (if available), phone, fax and e-mail contact with each request.

Murdoch University Library prefers requests via: LIDDAS or Libraries Australia Document Delivery System. We also accept requests via Ariel, fax, email and by post. Please phone 08 9360 2100 to alert staff when forwarding an express request.

Your request must include the following statement:
"This request complies with s50 of the Copyright Act, 1968".

Preferred payment is the Libraries Australia Document Delivery payment system; ALIA vouchers; and credit card.
A tax invoice can be issued but may result in higher charges.

Australian Libraries

CORE Service

Core interlending charge $13.20 per item.
Core copying charge $13.20 per item for up to 30 pages; $3.30 for every additional 30 page/s.

Additional Service levies

$13.20 for Rush (conditions: Preferred request methods: Fax; LIDDAS LAD)
$26.40 for Express
Additional Costs Fax/Ariel (local) NO CHARGE
Fax (interstate) $3.30 per 10 pages
Express post or equivalent $6.60(copies) $9.90(loaned material up to3 kg)
Express post or equivalent for loans over 3 kg negiotiated
Courier costs and arrangements are the responsibilty of the requesting library.

Overseas Libraries

New Zealand Libraries are as for Australian Libraries. No GST applies.

Other Overseas Libraries
Photocopies A$12.00 or 1 IFLA voucher (delivery by ARIEL or email)
Loans $36.00 or 2.5 IFLA vouchers (core service only - delivery by airmail postage)

Libraries may pay by by IFLA Vouchers; or with Credit Card or by cheque, in Australian dollars, made payable to Murdoch University Library. No GST applies.

Murdoch University Theses

Murdoch University participates in the Australasian Digital Theses Program and most higher degree research theses from 2003 onwards should be freely available in digital format. Check the Library Catalogue under the thesis author's name; where a digital version is available there will be a link to the pdf files.

If a digital version is not available please contact our Document Delivery section (ill@murdoch.edu.au). We are retrospectively digitizing requested research theses and will endeavour to make a digital copy available, however this could take some months as the thesis author is required to provide permission for digital access to their thesis.

Where a thesis is required quickly it can be supplied in CD format or hardcopy for a cost of $71.50 (GST inclusive). Please contact Document Delivery (ill@murdoch.edu.au) with your request.
